back to square one
So, I didn't get it. I'm pretty pissed off about it. And feeling a little rejected. But I will persevere. I'll just have to wait a little longer, I suppose, until I know what I'm going to be doing for the rest of the semester. I feel like a bum. But hey, I'm an American. I'm ambitious.
Anyone know someplace in DC looking for interns?
A bunch of us are going drinking in Georgetown tonight. Maybe that'll take my mind off my troubles.

They wouldn't know awesome if it socked them in the face, which is why I'm not telling you to sock them in the face, because, well, even then they won't know how awesome you are.
Meanwhile, wherever the Lord closes a door He opens a window, right? Perhaps there's a better opportunity just waiting for you around the bend.

Sorry to hear about not getting the internship but I know you will get one. They need to be crazy not to take you.
